Vehicle telematics can reduce fuel costs

Running a business these days is not easy and for those organisations that rely on the use of vehicles, times are particularly tough. The price of filling up at the petrol pumps has soared over recent years and this had added to the financial pressures being felt by enterprises around the UK.

However, there are ways in which companies can lessen this burden and one of the most effective is by educating drivers in the art of driving efficiently. It is amazing how much of a difference this can make to petrol and diesel consumption. The only problem is, while drivers may start off with the best will in the world, they tend to slip back into bad habits if they are not monitored.

This is where the vehicle telematics provided by Orchestrator come into their own. Among its offerings is FleetMetrik. This superb tool enables companies to synchronise their fleets using collected driving performance data.

By having access to ongoing measurements, managers can better control their drivers and help ensure they are getting the most miles per gallon. This can be further incentivised by the provision of rewards for model driving.

Of course, as well as benefiting enterprises’ bottom lines, such fleet vehicle tracking provisions are also good news for the environment, as it means less fuel is burned overall.

So, while firms may not have any control over what happens in the global oil markets or on government policy, they can at least take the reins in terms of directing their drivers.

The difference between bit and byte

In this article we will disclose the difference between bit and byte in the USB SPI/I2C/GPIO Adapter.

As you probably aware, every transmitted byte on the SDA line in the USB I2C Bus has a capacitance of 8 bits. Every bit consists of 0 or 1 numbers.

The number of the bytes that USB-SPI/GPIO adapter transmits can be unlimited until the USB I2C slave can accept the data. But each byte must be followed by Acknowledge (ACK) 9th bit.

The first 7 bits are the unique address, which has every I2C slave device, so the slave knows, that the I2C master (USB-GPIO/I2C/SPI adapter)addresses data bits to it. And the 8th bit in every byte is the hint (instruction) for the slave, what the master wants (whether it wants to read data or to write it). The USB-GPIO/I2C/SPI adapter sets this bit to 1 if it wants to write data to the slave.

If the slave can not receive or transmit data, the 9th bit is not acknowledged (NACK) by the slave. So, the master does not continue to transmit data without acknowledging.

To this situation can lead, that the slave does not understand the command, which it receives, or there is no device, which can receive the data (in this case the bus shows 1), or the end of transfer was not signaled.

If the slave can receive data, but it is busy at the moment, the slave can hold down the USB I2C clock line SCL and force the master into a wait state. And when the slave is ready to continue communication with the master, it releases the clock line and ready to work for the master.

Common mistakes when choosing the web hosting services

Hi every one, I am Jam from Scotland and today I am here to discuss some common mistakes we make when choosing the web hosting services. One of the common mistakes is, whenever we see unlimited disk space or bandwidth services, we just choose the services provider without thinking about anything lees. Though most of the companies promise to offer unlimited services but they are no true, therefore avoid going for unlimited packages. Choose the company which meets all your website needs.

Another thing you need to consider is the good support system where the technical team is always there to help the clients to clarify their doubts through phone, live chat or email. Stay away from the web hosting providers who does not give immediate response. Also choose the provider which guarantees you with 99.9% uptime for your website. Most of the good and best web hosts providers offer you with money back guarantee; this simply means to say that the company is very reliable and trustworthy.

They are very confident about their services. If you feel that the service provider is not meeting your needs, then you can get back the money. Also never go for free domain offers which does not have your name and contact information. Buy the domain names from good service providers as the domain name will the address for your website. There are various web hosting companies we have in the market which offer best services and one among them is ipage. If you want to know more about the company just go through the ipage reviews sections where you find experiences shared by previous customers.
